Students from our school participated in a heartwarming initiative to make handmade rakhis for soldiers. This project was organized in collaboration with Pidilite Industries which facilitated the delivery of these rakhis to our brave soldiers. The students were guided by the teacher meticulously to craft beautiful rakhis. The process involved creativity, dedication, and a deep sense of gratitude for the soldiers’ service.
A special function was organized on 6/08/24 to commemorate this occasion at 261 Arty Brigade Delhi Cantt “Bonds of Love” where several soldiers were present. The students had the unique opportunity to personally tie rakhis to the soldiers present at the function. This gesture symbolized the bond of protection and respect between the students and the soldiers. As a token of appreciation, the soldiers gave gifts to the children. This exchange was a touching moment, highlighting the mutual respect and admiration between the students and the soldiers.
The teacher who led this initiative was also honoured with a gift from the soldiers, acknowledging their efforts in making this event a success.
The entire experience was profoundly touching for everyone involved. It was a testament to the spirit of gratitude and respect that our students hold for the soldiers who protect our nation.
