Teachers Awards & Achievements

We feel proud and extremely happy to announce that with the blessings of our beloved Master Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Ms. Meenakshi Bhatia, Preprimary Teacher of Darshan Academy Delhi, has been felicitated and honored Excellence in Education award 2022 at an International Education Conclave 22 held on 10th September 2022 for her valuable contribution, innovation, and dedication.

The award was given by our Hon’ble member of BJP Mr. Vijay Jolly, Padma Shri Pratibha Prahlad, Dr. Neerja Gupta ( Doordarshan Administrator Head ) and Mr. Piyush Mani Tripathi ( MD Vaid ICS). We wholeheartedly congratulate her and wish many more awards in the future too.

We feel immensely happy to share our joy that Ms Amrit Kaur, TGT, MATHS of DARSHAN ACADEMY, Delhi has been Awarded SAVITRI BAI PHULE SAMMAN 2022 as ‘THE MOST INSPIRING EDUCATOR ‘. This Award is conferred in the memory of Savitribai who was an Indian social Reformer, educationist, and poet from Maharashtra.

An AWARD CEREMONY was organised on 3^rd September 2022 by Indraprastha School Sahodaya and Delhi Sahodaya School Complex. The Award was given by Hon’ble Director of Education, Govt of NCT, Delhi – Sh. Himanshu Gupta, IAS.

The Award Consisted of a Framed certificate, a stole and a gift voucher worth Rs 2000.

Par Excellence Contribution in Education 

• 2019: Ms Sunaina Khanuja, PRT was honoured with Par Excellence contribution in Education by International Institute of Hotel Management in 2019
• 2020: Ms Mamta Sabharwal Headmistress, Ms Monika Sachdeva Academic Coordinator, Mr Virendra Singh, Ms Amrit Kaur, Ms Mamta Amarpuri, Ms Sonali Khanna, Ms Meenakshi Bhatia and Ms Sanchi Agarwal were honoured with Par Excellence contribution in Education Award by International Institute of Hotel Management in 2020 for spreading positivity and showing commitment during the pandemic times. These teachers also participated in the inter school cooking contest organized by IIHM and were selected for the state level round.

An  international Conference on Information and Social Science  -2018 was organised  by International Business Academics Consortium at Nagoya Congress Center, Nagoya, Japan from dated 6th and 8th April.,2018.  Ms. Mamta Amarpuri, Librarian attended the conference as an International Committee member. She took charge of two sessions in the conference, judged the sessions, awards were finalised and distributed by her to the participants of other countries.  She also presented the paper on Impact of Knowledge Management in Library and Information Science which has been selected to be published in two prominent journals of USA. She received a certificate for paper presentation, one memento and a certificate for chairing the session in the conference.  

Ms.Reenu Bindra, PGT Physical Education received prestigious CBSE Teacher’s Award 2019. She is the only one receiving the award in the category of Physical Education teacher at Senior Secondary Level together with Thirty eight (38) educationists out of 20,299 CBSE affiliated schools in India and 220 CBSE affiliated schools in 28 foreign countries. She is honoured with a certificate of appreciation, a shawl and a cheque of Rs 50,000/- by CBSE. She has also received a letter of appreciation from Ministry of Education and Action Committee. She was also felicitated by Shri A.K Sachdeva, President Darshan Education Foundation for this great achievement.

Ms. Monika Sachdeva, PGT Biology, has been awarded the prestigious State teacher’s award for the session 2020-21. Darshan Academy’s family feels immensely happy and congratulates her on this great achievement. We attribute our thanks to President DEF for his inspiration and motivation, the Education officers for their support, the entire DEF for their help.

It was a moment of pride and glory that Ms Mamta Sabharwal(Headmistress) was felicitated with the State Teacher’s Award by Hon’ble Sh. Manish Sisodia ( Deputy Chief Minister & Minister of Education, Govt. of NCT Delhi) on 26th March 2021. It is the fourth consecutive time that Darshan Academy Delhi has conferred with the distinctive and prestigious State Teacher’s Award.

Ms Mamta got recognition for rendering outstanding contributions to the field of education. This award is a benchmark of her exemplary and meticulous efforts to give wings to young minds towards innovative and creative ideas. It’s a matter of great delight to the school fraternity for such distinct recognition that adds another accomplishment to the pinnacle of success.

Ms Mamta Amarpuri, Librarian was conferred with Best School Librarian award by Library Professionals Association and Goa University for implementing best reading practices and using innovative strategies to generate interest of students.
