Darshan Academy celebrated Sanskrit Diwas with great enthusiasm during the morning assembly, focusing on the importance of Sanskrit as the foundation of Indian culture and knowledge. The event began with a message from Ms. Sunderlali, TGT Sanskrit, who spoke about the timeless wisdom in Sanskrit scriptures and encouraged students to embrace the language to connect with their roots. This was followed by an insightful address by the Head of School, Ms. Mamta Sabharwal, who emphasized the need to preserve and promote Sanskrit in today’s rapidly changing world. The morning assembly featured various activities that showcased the students’ linguistic talents and understanding of Sanskrit. These included a news segment presented in Sanskrit, a thought-provoking speech, and a role play depicting scenes from ancient Indian texts. Students also recited Sanskrit couplets, demonstrating the beauty of the language’s poetry. The assembly concluded with a Sanskrit quiz, where participants eagerly answered questions, reflecting their growing interest in the language.
