A GK Quiz helps in developing mental abilities, improving reasoning and critical thinking skills, and building confidence. It exposes children to a wide range of information, encourages curiosity and boosting self-esteem in children.
The first round of the Inter-house GK Quiz for classes VI-VIII was held on 16 August 2024. All students participated in this round. One student of each house from every class was selected after this round. All selected twenty four students from all four houses participated in the final round called “The Quest” on 24 August 2024. The quiz was conducted by Miss Sukhpreet Kaur (GK Incharge).
There were three rounds in the quiz-
I ROUND- Innings-The first attack
II ROUND-Lock my choice
III ROUND –Super fast-Rapid fire
All students participated with great enthusiasm and excitement.
There was a tie between Peace House and Compassion House. A tie breaking round was conducted between these houses to decide the winner.
Compassion House bagged the first position with 80 points, followed by Peace House with 75 points. Service House ended being third by scoring 70 points and Empathy House got last position with 65 points.
