United Nations Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of Class XB under the guidance of Ms. Ritika Kapoor. The theme for the assembly was “Together for Peace, Equality, and a Better World.” The students’ presentation highlighted the origin, purpose, and goals of the United Nations, emphasizing the importance of peace, human rights, global cooperation, and sustainability. Students shared how the UN works for children’s welfare through UNICEF and encouraged everyone to contribute to a better world through small acts of kindness, teamwork, and responsibility.
Ms. Ritika, Class Teacher of XB, expressed that the assembly was a wonderful reminder that peace and unity begin with individual efforts and that every small act of kindness helps build a stronger, more compassionate world. The program concluded with Ms. Monika Sachdeva, Academic Coordinator, appreciating the students’ efforts and speaking about the importance of this year’s theme, encouraging everyone to stand together for harmony and equality.
