Labour Day Celebration

Darshan Academy, Delhi, celebrated Labour Day on April 30 with a special assembly conducted by Ms. Aarti along with the students of Class IX A. The assembly aimed to highlight the dignity of labour and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of workers in our daily lives. The programme commenced with a thoughtful introduction to the significance of Labour Day. Students presented an engaging role play portraying the struggles and importance of workers, followed by a melodious song dedicated to their hard work and dedication. Their performances effectively conveyed respect and gratitude for all forms of labour.

A special highlight of the assembly was the heartfelt appreciation expressed for the school’s support staff. As a token of respect, they were honoured for their relentless efforts and commitment, which truly form the backbone of the institution. Ms. Bhavna Arora, Senior Coordinator, addressed the gathering. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of respecting every individual’s work and encouraged students to cultivate empathy and gratitude towards all workers. The assembly concluded on a meaningful and inspiring note, encouraging everyone to value and uphold the dignity of labour.
