Darshan Academy, Delhi, celebrated the 75th Independence Day on August 14, 2022, with speeches from eminent personalities, HOS Ms. Mamta Sabharwal and Mr. A David. There were also programmes like dances, songs, acts, gymnastics, and a parade by the students by Ms. Vijay, Ms. Reenu Bindra and Mr. Sanjesh. The event started with the principal and head of the school unfurling the national flag and hoisting it. The students of the four houses started their march past and paid their respects to the national flag. The senior class students put together an act of how various freedom fighters fought the British army and sacrificed themselves to free India. The school choir team did a phenomenal job singing the famous song by Lata Mangeshkar, Aye Mere Vatan Ke Logo. The event came to a close with the national anthem.
