A national seminar on innovative technology applications in LIS was organised by Maitreyi College, Delhi, on August 12, 2022, to celebrate Librarian’s Day. Organised at the national level, participants from various parts of the country attended the seminar. Prof. Projes Roy from IGNOU was invited as a chief guest to guide the LIS professionals in using ICT tools in their libraries. He also focussed on improving the library standards by initiating RFID in libraries. Ms. Mamta Amarpuri, DA Delhi librarian, was also invited to attend the seminar as a council member of ILA. She felicitated the chief guest and shared her opinion about improving libraries.
