Darshan Academy counsellor, Mr. Gaurav Arora and special educator, Ms. Anuja Rithalia took part in the ARISE HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR SUMMIT – 2024.
Rosary Sr. Sec School in collaboration with Global Education News organized the event for school counsellors. It was a journey of learning, interaction and fun to interact with other school counsellors and special educators.
Different sessions were taken by various psychologists:
1) Mental health and young people by Dr. Samir Parikh.
2) Counselling strategies for cultivating emotional Intelligence in high school Students by Ms. Geetika Kapoor.
3) Sports for life: ‘Counselors as Performance Coaches ‘ by Dr. Divya Jain.
4) Expressive arts therapy for youth mental health by Ms. Tanushree.
5) Carrier in finance by Dr. Sushil Kumar Gupta.
6) Carrier in hospitality by Mr. Ahmed
7) Entrepreneurial mindset by Ms. Victoria.
All the sessions were insightful and provided the participants with new and creative ways of handling the diverse needs of students.
