World Red Cross Day was celebrated on May 8 in Darshan Academy, Delhi, to share the principles of the International Red Cross and the Red Crescent Movement with everyone. The students of class XIA conducted a beautiful assembly to mark the birth anniversary of its founder, Jean Henry Dunant. Students presented different speakers’ roles and highlighted the impact of kindness and compassion. They reminded us to work together to build a better world where everyone can access essential services and support. The principal and the class teacher of XI A came on stage and enlightened us with their alluring thoughts. World Red Cross Day provides an opportunity to encourage people to become more involved in humanitarian action.
