SmartEd Conclave, 2025

Darshan Academy, Delhi, proudly participated in the SmartEd Conclave 2025, held on June 9, 2025, at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. Organised by Headword Publishing in collaboration with ABP Network, the event revolved around the theme “India’s Educational Renaissance: Technology, Talent, and Transformation.” The conclave commenced with a keynote Fireside Chat by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Education, who emphasized the transformative potential of technology in education and the strategic goals of NEP 2020. The session also featured insights from Shri Sukanta Majumdar, Minister of State for Education, and Shri Ashish Sood, Minister for Home, Power, and Education, Delhi, who highlighted the importance of strong policy frameworks and educational leadership.

A key highlight of the conclave was the panel discussion on “The Bilingual Advantage: Leveraging India’s R1–R2 Model as a Launchpad for Global Competence,” moderated by Dr. Neeta Bali. Panelists Ms. Ritika Anand, Ms. Supriti Chauhan, Ms. Neeta Dua, and Mr. Amol Arora shared thought-provoking perspectives on the role of bilingual education in developing confident, culturally aware, and globally ready learners. The discussion highlighted how India’s multilingual heritage can provide a solid foundation for developing global competencies and fostering cognitive flexibility in students.

Ms. Ritika Kapoor, a faculty member representing Darshan Academy, Delhi, actively engaged in the sessions and brought back key takeaways to enrich the school’s academic vision. The event offered a valuable platform for professional learning, cross-institutional dialogue, and reflection on innovative educational practices. The conclave reaffirmed the need to integrate technology, embrace inclusive pedagogies, and promote linguistic diversity to prepare students for a rapidly evolving global future.
