Two days of Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for School Teachers and Innovation Ambassadors was organized on April 9 and 10, 2024, jointly by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), AICTE, NCERT and CBSE to nurture innovation, design, and entrepreneurship skills. Ms. Bhavna Arora, Senior Academic Coordinator, a certified Innovative School Ambassador, and a student from XIIA, Shefali Bhardwaj, were selected and registered to attend the IDE Bootcamp held at NIET Campus, Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida. The initiative was an excellent opportunity for them to foster their creativity and problem-solving skills and nurture innovative ideas so that students like Shefali can submit suitable innovations in upcoming school contests or projects and may secure funding support for their innovations by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, New Delhi. The expertise and dedication demonstrated by the camp resource persons throughout the training were commendable. Their guidance and support made the school participants’ experience truly enlightening. It is rare to encounter such a cohesive blend of knowledge, passion, and generosity in one setting. It was a privilege for us at Darshan Academy, Delhi, to have been a part of such an enriching boot camp, which was initiated and supported by the school head, Ms. Mamta Sabharwal, and the officials of the Darshan Education Foundation.
