Stress Relief for Senior Students 

Ms. Charnita, a psychologist from Sweden, conducted a stress relief workshop for senior students at Darshan Academy, Delhi, on April 26, 2024. The aim was to equip students with strategies to manage stress, mainly targeting the vagus nerve, the body’s longest nerve. The workshop covered stress concepts, causes, and impacts on health, including stress hormone release, immune system effects, cognitive issues, and emotional well-being. The importance of balancing the autonomic nervous system for stress relief was highlighted, with practical exercises such as muscle relaxation and guided imagery demonstrated. Through interactive activities and discussions, the session successfully empowered students with tools to relax their nervous systems and enhance overall well-being, aiding them in navigating senior year challenges resiliently.
