DARSHAN ACADEMY, DELHI

National Education Day

Education is an essential tool that enhances and improves students’ quality of life. To explain the importance of education to the children, grade 9 students at Darshan Academy, Delhi, under the guidance of Ms. Archana Dahiya, conducted a special assembly on National Education Day.  Students learnt why National Education Day is celebrated and some facts about Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of India. A skit was also presented, conveying a crucial message to the students. The assembly was further concluded with a speech by Ms. Mamta Sabharwal in which she encouraged students to give at least one hour of the day to help teach illiterate children. That one hour could change a child’s life.  The assembly concluded with the motto “Padhega India tabhi to badega India”.

" You cannot change your future, but, you can change your habits, and surely your habits will change your future."
