Darshan Academy, Delhi, celebrated Republic Day and the scholarship ceremony on January 26, 2024, with great zeal and fervour. The day commenced with the unfurling of our national flag by the Chief Guest, ACP Jai Narayan; the Guest of Honour, SHO Lalit Kumar from Model Town police station; Education Officer, Mr. Unnikrishnan; and Regional Head, Mr. A David from Darshan Education Foundation. After the welcome address presented by Ms Bhavna Arora, Senior Academic Coordinator, which set the tone of the day, cultural performances, including dances and skits, added to the festive ambiance. The focus shifted to academic excellence with a scholarship ceremony honouring students for their outstanding achievements. The scholarships were given under four categories: Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj Scholarship for Excellence in Academics for Grades I – IX, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj Scholarship for Excellence in Grade X and XII Board Examination, Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj Scholarship for All-round Excellence in Academics, Cultural Events and Sports, and Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj Sports Scholarship for Achievements in the Field of Sports. Distinguished guests imparted valuable perspectives on civic responsibility and law enforcement. Their presence and encouraging words from Education Officer, Mr. Unnikrishnan, and Regional Head, Mr. A David, elevated the occasion. Ms Monika Sachdeva, Middle Wing Coordinator, presented a vote of thanks. Head of School, Ms. Mamta Sabharwal, congratulated all students on Republic Day and the scholarship ceremony, emphasizing the importance of shaping responsible citizens through education with her special message to the entire Darshan Family.
