In association with the Bajaj Foundation, Times NIE organized a mega Youth Eco Summit on January 25, 2024, at Siri Fort Auditorium, where around 1700 students from 40 schools in Delhi participated. The grand event was graced by the famous Bollywood star, Mr. Sonu Sood and Mr. Nitin Pramod, Indian Foreign Services and the CEO of TECNO mobiles, along with other dignitaries. Students of Darshan Academy also participated in the event with great zeal, displaying models they prepared using e-waste in the competitions viz “Waste to Art” and “Slogan Writing”. It was a great learning experience for our students as they learned many new ideas on environment conservation through writing, singing, reciting and art and were honoured with mementos, certificates and gift hampers.
