English Debate Competition 

In an exhilarating showcase of oratory prowess, Darshan Academy, Delhi, hosted an English debate contest. The competition featured students from grades VI to VIII, with the semi-final witnessing a compelling face-off between Service House and Compassion House, both emerging victorious and setting the stage for a gripping showdown. Ultimately, Service House clinched the championship, leaving an indelible mark on the judges with their impassioned performances.

Apart from honoring the overall winner, the event bestowed additional awards upon outstanding speakers. The audience had the opportunity to select the most engaging speaker, while accolades were also given to the best debater, best moderator, and the best orator, recognizing their exceptional contributions.  These awards not only celebrated individual abilities but also underscored the vibrant and inclusive nature of the event.

The debate event was expertly coordinated by Ms. Monika Sachdeva, the academic coordinator, alongside English teachers Ms. Monali and Ms. Parvinder. The jury comprised Mr. SK Jha, Ms. Sakshi Sehgal, and Ms. Kiran Khanna.

The head of the school, Ms. Mamta Sabharwal, congratulated the winners and inspired the students with her motivational words. The debate highlighted the potency of intellectual discourse and its relevance in shaping young minds. Participants and spectators carried cherished memories to inspire them in the days ahead.
